Growing Conditions
Cerro Chapeu, Rivera, Uruguay. At 250 meters above sea level. Continental climate with great thermal amplitude. Soils of alluvial origin from volcanic materials washed over millions of years that formed very deep reddish sediments rich in iron, with great depth and increased drainage.
Nose
Complex aromas of citrus and apricot nuts with almonds and spicy notes.
Palate
Intense, dry and with a good length of flavors on the palate.
Appearance
Straw yellow color with a perfect "perlage".
Aging
Aged for 24 months on lees in our cellar at 12°C.
Harvest
Harvested by hand in 15 kg cases in February 2018 with optimal maturity.
