Growing Conditions

Cerro Chapeu is located on the formation of soils called Batovi dorado, where red and deep sandy soils of low fertility are characteristic, considered to be among the oldest in South America.

Nose

Offers notes of blackcurrant, raspberry and blackberry, in
harmony with an elegant touch of black pepper and graphite on the finish.

Palate

Long finish, complex.

Appearance

A vivid dark ruby color.

Aging

Each variety is aged separately in French oak barrels for 12 months.

Harvest

This cut is produced from concentrated grapes from the best vineyards in Cerro Chapeu. Harvested by hand at optimal maturity and with very low yields of less than 50 Hl per hectare, thus obtaining a great concentration of varietal character.

Bottling

Bottled with minimal handling.
